ABOUT THE BRAZILIAN MAD
The Vecchi edition, the first publisher, issued Mad in Brazil from 1974-1983. There were 103 issues during the Vecchi era. To identify a Vecchi issue, there are 2 marks to look for (below)
 Early issues of the Vecchi edition were stamped with the large "V" mark. |
 Later issues of the Vecchi edition used the text mark. |
In 1984, a 2nd publisher took over the Brazilian Mad. The "Record" edition published 158 issues from 1984 to 2000. The record edition can be distinguished by it's unique trademark (below).

In 2000, a third publisher took over the Brazilian Mad. The Mythos edition published until the end of 2006.

The fourth, or Panini edition, began
publication in 2008.
